We celebrate the lives, “lost” music of GARTH BROOKS' sister, BETSY (1953-2013) and their Mom, COLLEEN (1929-1999).
THE ONLY MUSIC VIDEO EVER MADE BY GARTH'S SISTER (AND BANDMATE) BETSY AND THEIR MOM, A COUNTRY STAR IN HER OWN RIGHT, COLLEEN BROOKS. FROM BETSY'S CD "ROUGH AROUND THE EDGES."
October 1998: Garth Brooks watches his mother, Colleen Carroll Brooks, wave to the crowd while holding the hand of her daughter, Betsy Smittle, during the "The Garth Brooks World Tour" in Minneapolis.
Betsy performed on both of Garth's NBC Specials: "This Is Garth Brooks" and "This Is Garth Brooks, Too."
Betsy loved touring the world with her younger brother, Garth Brooks. Garth nicknamed her "Hollywood" for her flamboyant and almost ostentatious style when performing for a crowd.
